The 36 videos below are reactions from recipients and reviews from people who ordered from Privet iz Afriki (the videos are in Russian). They were filmed for real orders and posted with their authors’ permission.

Reviews of a service you can’t see in advance get read more closely than usual. The customer pays for something that doesn’t exist yet: the video is filmed after payment, and until then all they have is our promises. That’s why this page has videos, not lines of text — a reaction is harder to fake than a five-star rating.
When you watch them, look for three things. Did we match the brief: is the name said, is it the right occasion, the right tone? Did we meet the deadline? Almost all of these videos were filmed on the day they were ordered. And what happened when something went wrong: the reviews show that more honestly than a “guarantees” section.
The format is easy to fake, and it has long had imitators: similar names, similar promises, other people’s videos used as examples. Privet iz Afriki was the first to set this trend and has been running since 2021, with more than 45,000 video greetings to date.
We take responsibility for the result — we film on the day of your order, support you at every stage and resolve any issues properly.
For the full terms, see “Our guarantees”.

We accept payment from any country — you choose the method at the last step of checkout.
A review of a video works differently from a product review. A product can be returned or photographed, but a greeting exists in a single copy and is filmed for one specific person: it’s almost impossible to judge it from the outside. That’s why we post the whole video, not a summary.
A reaction is a recording of the recipient watching the video: the first few seconds of confusion, then laughter. Most often it’s a birthday greeting — our most common occasion. Nobody says anything about the service in it, but you see the result. A customer review is the opposite: it’s about timing, revisions, the manager’s work and whether the video matched what the customer had in mind. Both are useful, and both are posted with their authors’ permission. These videos look great on a big screen — you can see that in how the room reacts, too.
A team from Africa on camera is an idea that’s easy to imitate. There are three ways to check a provider, and all three show in the reviews.
First: live filming. The video is filmed after you order, so the name is said out loud and the printed photo is in the frame — neither can be dropped into a pre-made template. The team says your exact greeting text, not a one-size-fits-all line. Second: specific timing. We film on the day of your order, and the finished file arrives as soon as 2 hours after payment. Third: what happens if you don’t like it — the answer should be short and verifiable, not “we always meet you halfway.”
If it doesn’t match the brief, we’ll reshoot it. Revisions are possible within 24 hours after you receive the file, and this is handled by a dedicated quality control team. If the order falls through because of us, or we’ve agreed to cancel it, you get your money back in full: under our public offer (Kazakhstan), we review refund requests within 10 business days.
A word about the people on camera. The teams who film our videos in the DR Congo and Egypt officially work with the project and are paid above the average rate in their region. Nobody films these videos for free — this is work, and it shows on camera.
Half of all complaints can be headed off at the request stage. The spoken message is up to 75 characters, the chalkboard message up to 60; two names and a long wish rarely fit within those limits, so it’s best to put the name on the board and leave the wish for the spoken part. Send music as a link that’s open for listening on YouTube or RuTube. The team says the text in English, or in Russian on request; we don’t promise other languages.
If you can’t find the words for your greeting yourself, message a manager: they’ll suggest some wording and pick a team to suit the recipient’s personality. It won’t cost you any more. You can order a greeting on our custom video greeting page, where you’ll also find the order builder with the teams and packages.
Write to us after you’ve shown the video to the recipient: what the occasion was, what you ordered and how they reacted. Send us your criticism too — we respond to it and use it to fix our process. We publish your comment only with your permission, and we don’t share customer data with third parties. If your comment comes with a reaction video, we ask separately whether we can post that too.
Yes. These are videos from real orders, posted with their authors’ permission. We don’t copy ratings from external sites onto this page — those sites are the original source, linked above.
Message us within 24 hours of receiving the file. If the video doesn’t match your brief, we’ll reshoot it; a dedicated quality control team keeps an eye on this.
Yes, we’ll refund you. If the order falls through because of us, or we’ve agreed to cancel it, you get your money back in full: under our public offer (Kazakhstan), we review refund requests within 10 business days.
We film on the day of your order, and the finished file arrives as soon as 2 hours after payment. The “Express” option for $15 moves your order to the front of the queue.
Yes, real people. Every video is made by real people, with no AI, deepfakes, auto-generation or green screen. The photo is printed, and the chalkboard message is written by hand in chalk. You can see it in the footage: the wind, the sand, natural light and the team’s genuine reaction to the name they’re saying.
In English, or in Russian on request. You can hear an accent, but the name and the main phrase are said clearly, so it’s best to keep the text short.
Only with your permission. Without it, the video stays with you, and we don’t share customer data with third parties.
Yes. We don’t accept texts or songs with profanity.
Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay (available in 50+ countries, except Russia). You can also place an order without prepayment: a manager will contact you, clarify the details and help you pay later.
