A team in Africa will say your text, dance to the music and show the birthday person’s photo. We film on the day of your order, and the finished video arrives as soon as 2 hours after payment — as an MP4 file to your email or messenger.
A card gets scrolled past in a second, the recipient has already read the poems from the internet, and half of all gifts are forgotten within a week. Ordinary birthday greetings are predictable, but a hello from another continent catches people off guard.
Real people are on camera. No AI, deepfakes, auto-generation or green screen: the photo is printed, the board message is written by hand, and the name is said out loud. That’s why a video greeting with someone’s name in it hits home: it’s addressed to them personally.
You see the reaction right away. People forward the 40–60 second video to the family chat, play it for guests on a projector and rewatch it a month later. Since 2021, we’ve filmed more than 45,000 videos like this — it’s a gift that doesn’t get put away in a closet.

A favorite track and a bit of teasing on the board: a video like that fills the chat with laughter.
A photo of the two of you, warm words and the song you once danced to.
A tender greeting by name and a family detail only the two of you know about.
A calm text, a thank-you and his music — no baby talk or cartoonish costumes.
A child’s birthday is all about movement: outfits, dancing, the name said out loud.
Reserved wording, a formal address by name and patronymic, a neutral track.
Milestone birthdays call for the extended packages: more photos and a script of your own.
You choose a team and a package and write the text for the team to say; from the Hit package on, you add a chalkboard message, a photo and a link to your own music. No sign-up needed: you can order a video from your phone in a couple of minutes.
You can also skip prepayment: a manager will message you, help with the wording and pick a team to suit the birthday person’s personality.
We film on the day of your order, and your video greeting arrives as soon as 2 hours after payment — by email, Telegram or WhatsApp.
If the video doesn’t match your brief, we’ll reshoot it. You have 24 hours from receiving the video to ask for revisions.
The packages differ in what goes into the video and how many teams are available. Start, at $24, is a quick video hello for a friend or coworker. The Hit package at $63 is the first to include a chalkboard message, your own music and a photo of the birthday person. Premium at $95 suits a husband, wife or parents: up to five photos, video editing and a logo on the board. King, from $113, is built for milestone birthdays: a personal script, a large photo and the entire team catalog.
Want to try the format first? Take Start. Want photos in the frame and your own track? Most people choose Hit. Need advanced editing options for business tasks? Go with Premium.
The final price is calculated at checkout: some options are paid separately.

“Happy birthday, Anya! You’re the best”
“Maxim is 35! Africa’s in the know”
“Dad, happy milestone birthday! We love you”
“Mom, thank you for being you”
“Happy b-day, bro! Hang in there, old man”
“Happy birthday”
“Happy Birthday, Egor! You’re 7”
“50 is just the warm-up”
Put the name first: it’s heard and seen first. The board is part of the gift — people read it before they listen to the text.
We take responsibility for the result — we film on the day of your order, support you at every stage and resolve any issues properly.
For the full terms, see “Our guarantees”.

We accept payment from any country — you choose the method at the last step of checkout.
A birthday video greeting from Africa is filmed for one specific person, not a ready-made template with a name dropped in. To create a video greeting, we need three things from you: the text, a photo and a music link. With them, the team films a personal video and sends you the file. There’s only one copy of it — that’s how you get an original greeting you can’t buy off the shelf.
A free video card is someone else’s animation with a name typed in. Hundreds of other people get the exact same clip that day, and the recipient can feel it. A slideshow maker sets your photos to music: something between a card and a music video. It looks nice, but the emotion lasts for one viewing.
This works differently. The team says your exact text, holds your printed photo in the frame and dances — and all of it is filmed today, for one person. A video gift from Africa lasts longer than a card: people forward it, save it and show it to those who missed the party. Custom-written poems are similar in idea, but someone still has to read them out loud.
Your request goes to the team on the day you send it. We film in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, while Pyramid Drummers and Desert Caravan work in Egypt — at the pyramids and in the desert. The team learns the name and the text, prints the photo and writes the board message in chalk by hand. The greeting is personal: the name is said out loud, not shown as a caption. The filming is live: no AI, deepfakes, auto-generation or green screen. The finished MP4 is 40–60 seconds long.
Every team member officially works with the project and is paid above the average rate in their region. Nobody films these videos for free — this is work.
You really can order a video greeting on the day of the celebration: we film on the day of your order, and the file arrives as soon as 2 hours after payment. Order in the morning and you’re in time for the evening dinner party. When you’re really short on time, add the Express option for $15: your order goes to the front of the queue. One exception is the large 1×1 m photo: it takes up to three days to print, so it can’t be combined with Express.
A custom video costs as much as you put into it. First comes the base of the video greeting price is set by the package: $24 for Start, $63 for Hit, $95 for Premium and from $113 for King. After that, only what you add yourself: extra A4 photos from $5, video editing with titles and an intro for $14, a second camera angle for $45, a longer video for $40. You see the total at checkout. Your second order gets 10% off, and your third and every one after that get 15% off.
A birthday video greeting from a friend and one from a coworker are two different texts, even though the format is the same. A friend will love some teasing and something loud; for parents, it’s their name, a family detail and calm music with no clowning around. A greeting for a child is built on movement: kids watch the costumes and the dance and only half-listen to the words, so for a child’s birthday people choose the brightest teams. A boss is addressed formally, by name and patronymic, with a neutral song and no edgy jokes. The gift works when it fits the person’s character: if you can’t find the words, message our manager.
Birthdays tend to look alike, but a milestone one gathers a whole room: guests, toasts, a shared screen. Here the video works as an act in the evening’s program, not as a message in a messenger app, so for a milestone birthday people more often choose “Premium” or “King”. The bigger packages fit more photos and add cutaways and intros, and the script is written separately — for example, with a legend told by our crew’s leader or a song from The Serenaders. People choose the same format for wedding anniversaries and graduations.
The finished video goes to your email, Telegram or WhatsApp — from then on, it’s yours. Two scenarios work best: playing the video on a projector or TV when everyone is already at the table, and sending it as the first message on the morning of the birthday, before the stream of usual greetings — then your gift is seen before all the others. For stories, there’s a vertical 9:16 frame, available from the Hit package. A video gift has no expiration date: the file stays with you forever, with no limit on views.
The spoken text is up to 75 characters, the chalkboard message up to 60. Staying within the limit is easier than it seems: a name, the occasion, one wish. It’s best to put the name first so it’s heard first. You don’t need to send photos and videos from past celebrations — one photo of the recipient is enough. If you run out of words, ask the team to sing Happy Birthday: everyone recognizes it from the first note. We don’t accept texts or songs with profanity.
The team says the text in English, or in Russian on request; we don’t promise other languages. A photo and a chalkboard message are available from the Hit package. The music link must be playable on YouTube or RuTube. We publish a greeting video only with your permission, and we don’t share customer data with third parties.
Usually, yes: even if the birthday is just a day away, we film on the day of your order, and the finished file arrives as soon as 2 hours after payment. Want to play it safe? Add the Express option for $15, and your order goes to the front of the queue.
In English, or in Russian on request. There is an accent, but the name and the main phrase are said clearly, so it’s best to keep the text short.
If the video doesn’t match your brief, we’ll reshoot it. Revisions are possible within 24 hours of receiving the file; this is handled by a dedicated quality control team. Tell us exactly what’s wrong — we fix the actual issue rather than “redoing everything from scratch.”
Tell the manager who the video is for and what the occasion is — they’ll suggest wording and pick a team to match the birthday person’s personality. Usually three things are enough: the name, the occasion and one wish in your own words. That’s enough for a warm birthday greeting rather than a perfunctory one.
Yes, you choose the orientation yourself: 16:9 for a screen or projector, or 9:16 for stories and messaging apps. The format choice is available from the Hit package.
Yes, we’ll refund you. If the order falls through because of us, or we’ve agreed to cancel it, you get your money back in full: under our public offer (Kazakhstan), we review refund requests within 10 business days.
Yes. We don’t accept texts or songs with profanity. It’s also better to skip suggestive jokes on personal topics: on camera they come across differently than in a chat.
Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay (available in 50+ countries, except Russia). You can also order a greeting without prepayment: a manager will contact you, clarify the details and help you pay later.
Not at all. We send the MP4 to your email, Telegram or WhatsApp, and you forward the file. The text is in English, or in Russian if you prefer.
Yes, real people. Every personalized video is made by real people, with no AI, deepfakes, auto-generation or green screen. Every photo is printed, and the board message is written by hand in chalk. You can see it in the footage: the wind, the sand, natural light and the team’s real reaction to the name they’re saying.
40–60 seconds, MP4 format. From you: a spoken message of up to 75 characters; from the Hit package on, also a chalkboard message of up to 60 characters, a photo and a music link.
