Our story and aspirations
It all started with an amateur video greeting that got our business going. Privet iz Afriki was the first to set the trend for original video greetings with local people from the DR Congo in the lead roles.
Today many people support this idea or try to copy it, but our project is the one that started it all, and it brings together thousands of people around the world.
What does Privet iz Afriki mean to us? First of all, it’s not just an entertainment project but also a company with a strong sense of social responsibility
We strive to improve the lives and well-being of the stars of our videos — people living in Africa (specifically, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo). That’s where all the filming takes place: your orders give the people on camera and their families a chance to live a brighter, more comfortable life, and they create new jobs. We were also previously the sponsors of Sultan the giraffe at the Almaty Zoo (the sponsorship program has been successfully completed).

How do I order?
1. Choose a package and a team available in that package. Write your greeting text, upload photos and a track (depends on the package). We don’t accept songs or message texts with profanity
2. Choose the options available in your package
3. Pay for your order any way you like, from anywhere in the world
4. Tell us how to reach you and message us on social media. Note: you can order a video yourself on the website or with the help of our managers on any of our social media channels

Are the team members paid fairly?
Yes. We work on a transparent model: every team member officially works with the project and is paid above the average market rate in their region.

Are they real people or AI?
All videos are made by real people. We don’t use AI, deepfakes, auto-generation or green screen. Every photo for your order is printed, the board message is written by hand, and then the video is filmed by real teams individually for you
